Did you know that Tulsa families can pick up to six schools during the enrollment process? The 2022-2023 enrollment window opens on Jan. 5 and closes Feb. 13. Our district has 78 amazing schools to choose from and many resources available to help you find the right fit for your child! 

Tulsa Public Schools is a district of choice, which means that students can apply to attend any school in the district regardless of where they live as long as there is space at the school and student applications are submitted during the enrollment window. Director of Strategic Operations Cesar Dominguez says: “All families should be aware of the enrollment window, but there are two types of families we hope to reach: those of new students enrolling for the first time and those of students who are already enrolled but are in a transitional year, like elementary students transitioning to middle school or middle school students transitioning to high school.”

Dominguez said: “We have great resources for families available on our website to help them learn about our school communities.”

Families should make sure they have the required documents for enrollment.

New student requirements: 

• proof of address

• parent or guardian’s photo ID

• student’s birth certificate

• immunization record

Current or returning student requirements:

• proof of address

• parent or guardian’s photo ID

Exceptions can be made for certain circumstances; contact the enrollment center at (918) 746-7500 for help.

Families can enroll online at www.tulsaschools.org/enroll or in-person at the following sites:

• Enrollment Center (2819 S. New Haven Ave.): Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8am-4pm.

• Enrollment Expo sites (locations to be announced): 

  • Jan. 22 from 8:30am-1:30pm for East Tulsa and South Tulsa

  • Jan. 29 from 8:30am-1:30pm for North Tulsa

  • Feb. 5 from 8:30am-1:30pm for Midtown and West Tulsa
